CHEF LIBBY BARRETT
FOUNDER

Chef Libby Barrett has decades of experience making people happy and healthy with food. Growing up in the American South and the Mid-Atlantic as well as Canada, she experienced great food and fabulous home cooking. She now carries on the tradition of a long line of dedicated and accomplished chefs.

Chef Libby listens to what busy people need, and she customizes her service to meet each client’s food requirements and requests. Along with satisfying comfort foods and classic favorites, her repertoire features world cuisines and current food trends, including vegan and vegetarian, gluten free, organic, anti-inflammatory, low salt, Mediterranean, South Beach, Paleo and more. She also has extensive experience in kosher kitchens.

Beyond daily dinners, Chef Libby elevates home entertaining and provides a way for families and friends to return to the dinner table, gathering to celebrate life’s happy occasions with minimum effort and maximum pleasure.

Before becoming a personal chef, Libby worked behind the scenes with museums and orchestras in communications, marketing, and fund raising. She holds a BA from Queen’s University and an MA from McGill University, and she is a premier member of the United States Personal Chef Association and is certified in Food Safety First Principles.

In the South Florida community, Libby volunteers with the Palm Beach Literacy Coalition and Boca Helping Hands. She also serves as a docent at the Boca Museum of Art.

Chef Libby brings her passion for the arts and her enjoyment of the finer things in life to every dish she creates.
